Concept Project - OVHcloud OVHcloud is the sovereign pillar of the European cloud. With 46 data centers, 1.6 million customers, and a promise of absolute sovereignty that no American hyperscaler can deliver, the group has established itself as the only strategic alternative to AWS and Azure. From hyper-growth scale-ups to public institutions, they have built a true engineering titan. My mission: to align the strength of their brand with the maturity of their infrastructure.

01. THE CHALLENGE OVHcloud boasts 46 data centers and over 1.6 million customers. Yet, its brand lacked the weight it deserved. It seemed too technical, not convincing enough to gain traction without constant justification. The objective was simple: for CTOs and developers to choose it themselves, without needing to be told. 02. THE STRATEGY With a brand like OVHcloud, I wasn't starting from scratch. The logo's recognition was too strong to completely overhaul, so I chose to refine its wordmark rather than reinvent it, tightening its proportions and structure to better support the rest of the system. The real challenge lay around this: building an identity that speaks the same language as the infrastructure it represents. Direct, straightforward, and one that doesn't need to raise its voice to convince, whether in a meeting room or on a developer's screen. 03. THE SYSTEM OVHcloud's infrastructure is impressive; it's better to showcase it than hide it behind metaphors. Rather than dressing up the technology with abstract images, I built a visual universe that exposes it as it is: servers, data centers, all the physical density that is the group's strength. The result is a brand language that conveys sovereignty and control, without ever needing to spell it out.
